Spring in the City
Here are a couple of small examples of the explosion of flowers this year thanks to all that tedious winter rain and to the gardeners who live and work here. And now sunshine and clean air to celebrate the first day of Spring yesterday. Counting flowers and my blessings...

yes, it feels like Spring
Hooray, sunshine and NO rain. I was able to get in a couple of walks and then weed in my overgrown garden yesterday. Annabelle was able to guard the house in her sunny front courtyard and we are both looking forward to enduring the final rainstorm next week. Sweet.

I bought a few too many gourds and pumpkins this year, but what the hell,
how often is it really, truly Autumn? Sunshine every day, cool nights and
just a hint of fog in the early morning. A great time of year for long walks
