on my To Do List
Not me in the above photo, but you guessed that. I need to find a new exercise routine because my teacher on Zoom from the Park and Rec Department is retiring. Victor is 65 or so. Damn. Of course there are hundreds to choose from on YouTube, but what I need is the set schedule or I will find other "important" things to do. So June Resolution ~ find an exercise regime and just do it. I walk everyday but need to work on strength and balance. Onward...

almost a resolution
First I read the book, then I hope to exercise. I like Peggy Cappy's philosophy: "Nothing changes nothing; doing something may change everything." Our dogs and cats stretch when they first wake up and it makes perfect sense to me. Don't Get Out of Bed Yet might work for bringing a bit more flexibility to this body and I hope to encourage better circulation. We shall see...

back to Victor
Exercise class resumed yesterday and just in time. Here is our teacher, Victor, sponsored by San Francisco Park and Rec and free. Zoom. Not easy after those few holiday weeks off.

1-2-3 vaca over
The Zoom exercise class from SF Park and Rec started this morning again after almost two weeks of freedom. I promised myself that I would continue to stretch, lift and balance during the off time, but did that happen? One would think that I would have a bit more discipline at my age, but one would be wrong. So my day was extra busy with class, then an early lunch in the Grove and finally a Wellness Exam for a certain girl cat who was not happy about this one bit. Annabelle is 100% fine and so am I.

The Bernal Heights Grand Prix
About the only things I really miss about my little gym on 24th Street are the bikes and the latte (with sweet) reward afterwards. So with the Blogmaid's help I bought this bike from Amazon, then set about making room for it in the garage. That part took a few weeks because I had not made a dent down here after Husbando died. I like the recombent bike because it protects my back. Next I texted Mr. Singh a few hundred times and finally two Singhs arrived Saturday morning and in 1.5 hours (and a few ahem $$$) I have my wonderful new bike. I am very, very happy. So is my heart.

with Impeachment #2 in background
I started my Wednesday with Victor and his 100 plus exercise students and then to house tasks and the truly riveting hearings. How can ANYONE still support tRump? I finished this puzzle of Peru without Annabelle's help, but she wanted to take credit and so she shall.

park & rec & zoom
"Grab your weights!" Yesterday I joined a fabulous FREE online exercise class given by the SF Park and Recreation Department. Barb told me about it and I am grateful. Forty-five minutes of constant motion and just what I need in the morning after my lazy yoga. M-W-F ~ I honestly did not feel one moment of clumsy even though I am not the most coordinated woman in all of America. Or Bernal Heights.
