sweet Sunday

 I posted this pretty photo on Instagram yesterday. Keeping up with Ukraine and appreciating my soft and easy life here in America. Remembering back to our anti-war and anti-Trump marches and how lucky we were to be able to express our strong opinions and not be tossed in jail. Yes, I do take freedom for granted. I had a lovely day puttering, cleaning, weeding, reading and being very, very grateful.

never too blue on Thursday

 I never could have made it through the past year without Doug and Barb's kindness and GREAT cooking every Thursday. Often it was the only time I spoke to anyone during the week. They are both creative cooks and soon our Pod lunch gatherings will be over as they are going to New York in May and then continue on with some other long-awaited travel adventures. My Thursday saviors ~ gratitude.

Not to get gushy here, but every day deserves my gratitude. Done.
