life resumes

Yesterday Mayor Breed conceded and that was no fun. New Mayor Lurie has gobs of Levi® money but he will be okay, I hope. I took myself on a solo adventure to a brand new city park out at India Basin. Lovely. This was a black neighborhood and during WWII the ship building industry took over. These days there is a lot of new housing ~ block after block of condos and tall apartment buildings. And always, of course, our beautiful Bay.

back with the voters

Mostly I prefer the dogs while campaigning at the Noe Valley Farmers' Market on Saturday morning. Yesterday a rival (Mark Farrell) took the heat for some questionable campaign financing  so my presence didn't cause a fuss and I didn't have to defend Mayor Breed for something I know nothing about. It was an OK time, all in all.

vote for Mayor Breed

Maybe it was the sunshine yesterday? Jack and I received a few more thumbs up and positive comments than we did the previous Saturday when we worked outside of the Noe Valley Farmers' Market. One complaint from a jerk who didn't like that London shut down the city so quickly for Covid and we all had to wear masks (horror) and I replied that she saved my life. Not an easy decision to close a city, but it worked.

city love

My first meeting as a volunteer for the Re-elect Mayor London Breed was yesterday and I had such a fine day in downtown San Francisco. The bottom photo is from an office and can you imagine trying to get ANY work done while looking out at this grandeur? This campaign will not be an easy one but I will do my small part because I admire Mayor Breed so much.
